RESOLUTION NO. 2529
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING AUTO SHOP EQUIPMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULE
3 VI OF CONTRACT NO. 271 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF
VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, on November 7" 1961, Huddleston Equipment
7 Company was awarded the contract for furnishing auto shop equipment
8 for the Public Works Facility in accordance with Schedule VI of Contract
9 No. 271; and
10 WHEREAS" David D. Grayson. Traffic Engineer, has
11 reported to the City Council under date of February 1, 1962" that said
12 auto shop equipment has been received in a satisfactory manner, and that
13 payment should be made in accordance with the contract;

14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IE SOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the auto shop equipment be, and the
16 same is hereby accepted as being satisfactory and in accordance with
17 Schedule VI of Contract No. 271 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That there is now due Huddleston
Equipment Company the sum of $2" 882.11, and the remaining fifteen
percent, or the sum of $508. 61.. is payable thirty-five (35) days after the
adoption of this resolution, and the City Council hereby directs payment
of the sum of $2" 882.11 to said Company upon the adoption of this Resolution.
and the balance thirty-five (35) days thereafter.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of February, 1962.
