RESOLUTION NO.2 536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE STORAGE EQUIPMENT FOR PUBUC WORKS FACILITY
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULE II OF CONTRACT NO. 271 HERETO-
FORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ on November 7, 1961~ General Fireproofing Company
was awarded the contract for furnishing storage equipment for the Public
Works Facility in accordance with Schedule II of Contract No. 271; and
WHEREAS" David D. Grayson" Traffic Engineer, ~as reported to
the City Council under date of February 26, 1962, that said storage equip-
ment has been received in a satisfactory manner, and that payment should
be made in accordance with the contract;
NOW~ THE:REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the storage equipment be" and the same
is hereby accepted as being satisfactory and in accordance with Schedule II
of Contract No. 271 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due General Fireproofing
Company the sum of $4, 002. 93, and the remaining fifteen percent, or the
sum of$706. 40" is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this
resolution" and the City. Council hereby directs payment of the sum of
$4" 002. 93 to said Company upon the adoption of this Resolution, and the
balance thirty-five days thereafter.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
