RESOLUTION NO. 2537
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE UTIliTY
BILLING MACHINE AND ACCESSORIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 267 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS" on September 5, 1961, the National Cash Register
Company was awarded the contract for the furnishing and delivery of one
utility billing machine and accessories in accordance with Specifications
No. 267; and
WHEREAS, F. A. Ziemer" City Clerk, has reported to the City
Council under date of February 26, 1962, that said equipment has been
received in a satisfactory manner, and recommends that acceptance and
payment be made in accordance with the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SE CTION 1:
That one utility billing machine and accessories
be, and the same are hereby accepted as being satisfactory and in accordance
with Specifications No. 267, heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due the National Cash Register
Company the sum of $3,402. 66, being ninety percent (90%) of the contract
price, and the balance of $378.07 is due thirty-five (35) days thereafter.
The City Council hereby directs payment of said sum to said Company upon
the adoption of this Resolution" and the balance thirty-five days thereafter.
SE GTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.

adopted by the City. Council of the City of Vernon, and approved by the
