Vernon Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue.
2. Drill and complete wells "10(1947) and 112(1953); construct two - 1 MG
ground storage tanks (1955); and construct a 320 h.p. booster station (1956)
near the SW corner of Vernon Avenue and Downey Road.
3. Drill and complete wells 18(1942), 19(1948) and 113(1953); construct three -
1 MG ground storage tanks (1955); and construct a 320 h.p. booster station
(1956) near the NW corner of Downey Road and Fruitland Avenue.
4.. Construct a 24-inch Metropolitan Water District connection from the MWD
Palo Verde Feeder at Alameda street and Vernon Avenue to .the City's

of the City of Vernon, which has been executed by Mayor Robert J.
Furlong and attested by F. A. Ziemer, City Clerk.
Also enclosed you will find three (3) certified copies of
Resolution No.. 2542 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF VERNON TO
MAKE APPLICATION FOR AN A.MENDED PERMIT TO USE ADDITIONS TO
EXISTING WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF VERNON FOR. THE FURNISHING
OF DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLY TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY, which
was adopted by the City Council at its meeting held Ma':ch 20,
1962.
