2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
3 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS" DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS AND THE
CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS" the Department of Public Works, State of Ca1ifornia~
7 has entered into an agreement with the Office of Planning of the Department
8 of Finance of the State of California providing for the partial financing of
9 the Los Angeles Regional Transportation Study by the Federal Government
10 under Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954 (P. L.560}, 83rd Congress,
11 as amended; and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to participate in said project
13 and to receive the benefits accruing under the aforesaid agreement;
14 NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they
SECTION 1:
are hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Vernon
that certain Agreement between the Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways and the City of Vernon for reimbursement of two-thirds of
costs incurred in obtaining land use data for the Los Angeles Regional
Transportation Study.
SECTION 2:
That the City Clerk of the. City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 30th day of March, 1962.
