2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 280 AND PLAN NO. T 1655 FOR TRAFFIC
3 SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA FE AVENUE
AND FRUITLAND AVENUE, AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL
4 PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, under date of April 12, 1962, David D. Grayson,
7 Traffic Engineer, presented Contract No. 280 to the City Council for
8 traffic signal installation at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Fruit-
9 land Avenue; and
10 WHEREAS, th,e City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
11 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
12 und,er s.aid Contracl No. 280.
13 NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

That Contract No. 280 and Plan No. T 1655 be,
SECTION 1:
,
15 and the same ,are hereby approved for traffic s.ignal installation at the inter-
16 section of Santa Fe Avenue and Fruitland Avenue.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
18 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
19 rate per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by
20 contractors and subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in
21 Contract No. 280 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
22 No. 280.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
SECTION 3:
24 to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and ther,eafter the same shall
25 be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of April, 1962.
