RESOLUTION NO. 2552
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 275 AND PLAN NO. WS 1629 FOR THE
BOOSTER PLANT NO.3 ADDITION, AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL
PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of May 8, 1962, R. H. King, Superintendent
of Water and Sewer Systems, presented Contract No. 275 to the City Council
for the Booster Plant No. 3 Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investig;c:lted
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
under said Contract No. 275;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 275 and Plan No. WS 1629
be, and the same are hereby approved for the Booster Plant No. 3
Addition.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby fiqd and declare that the general prevailing
rate per diem for wages for lahorers, workmen and mechanics employed by
contra.ctors and subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in
Contract No. 275 are those wage rate schedules contained in s.aid Contract
No. 275.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of May, 1962.
