RESOLUT ION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INST ALLATION AT THE
3 INTERSECTION OF SANTA FE AVENUE AND FRUITLAND AVENUE.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, under date of May 1. 1962. sealed bids were
6 opened for traffic signal installation at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue
7 and Fruitland Aven.ue;
8 NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

The City Council of the City of Vernon
SECTION 1:
10 finds that the best interest of the City of Vernon will be served by rejecting
11 all bids.

SECTION 2:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
13 does hereby reject all bids for traffic signal installation at the intersection
14 of Santa Fe Avenue and Fruitland Avenue on Contract No. 280.

SECTION 3:
That the City Clerk is hereby instructed
16 and directed to return all checks to all bidders.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of May, 1962.
