THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVlSS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: . The City Clerk of the Cityo! Vernon is hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids forirafficsignal installation at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and Fruitland Avenue, in accordance with Contraet No. 280, and the NoUce Inviting Sealed Proposals contained i)1. said Contract No. 280. SECTION 2: There being no. newspaper of generalcircula- tion printed, published and circulated in the City of Verno.n, the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause the same to be po.sted, in three (3) of the most public places in said City, to wit: the northwest corner of 38th street and Santa: Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leona Boulevard and Pac.ific Boulevard, and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 .Santa Fe Avenue in said City. SECTION 3: The first posting of sa.id notice shall be not less than ten. (10) days before the date of opeQing bids for the propGsed work. The notice shall distinctly state the materials to be furnished and the w'()rk to be done. SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this Resolution.,. and thereupon.,and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
