RESOLUTION NO. 2572
A RESOLunON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tl:IE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 284 AND PLA,N NO. \VS 1681 FOR THE
BOOSTER PLANT NO. 3 REMO'tE CONTROL AND REPORT-BACK
sysTEM., AND .DET~RMlNING 'tHE OENERAL PREV AILI,NG RATE OF
PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'tYOF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of August 2, 1962, R. II. King,
Superintendent of Wa.ter &. Sewer Systems, presented Con.tract No. 2:84 to
th:e City Council fQT the Booster Plant No. 3 Remote Control and Repart-
Back Syatem.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon b.aa
invest.iga.ted the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for
the wo.rkdone underaaid Contract No.. 284;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
S.ECTION 1:
That Contract No. 284 and Plan No.. WS 1681
be, and th.e same .are hereby approved for the BOQster Plant No.3 Remote
Control and Report-Back System.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that th.e general prevailing. rate
per diem for wages fo.r -laborers, wo-crkmen and mechanics employed by
contractorsa.wisubcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth. in
Contract No. 2:84 are those .wage rate sch.edules contained in said Contract
No. 284.
SECTION 3:
Th.e. City Clerk of th.e City of Vernon shall
certify to Ute passage of th.is resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same s.hall he in full force and effect.
ADOP'tED AND APPROVED this 7th day of August, 196-2.
