A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES AND LEVYING THE TAXES FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR B.EGINNING JULY 1, 1962.
THE CITYCOU;NClL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That for the purpose of raising thesu.m of
money to be raised by taxatio.n upon. taxable property in the City of VertlQn
as revenue to carry on the various. . departmerttllof the City for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1962, tae rate of taxes for the different portions of
the City of Vern~nare hereby fixed and the taxeaare hereby levied on all
taxable property in the different portions of aaid City for the fis.calyear
beginning July 1, 1962, in the number of cents upon each one hundred dollars
of the ass.essed value of said property, asas.s.e13:sed by the County A$sessor
andequaliz.ed by the Board of Supervisorsofsatd County of Los.. Angeles.
and for the several funds and purposes set forth in tne following table, the
taxes levied upon pr.operty in each portion of said City hereinafter deSCribed
and d.esignated bya DiStrict number, being at the rates set opposite the
designatiotlsof the res.pective funds in the column headed by thedis:trlct
number which is. prefixed to tne description of each such pOrtion of said
City, as hereinafter stated.

The northweJdcorn.e.rof 38th Street a.nd Santa Fe Avenue; at. the northeast
corner of Leonj.s Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard, and on the bulletin hoard
i.n the lobby of Ihe City Hall of the Cityo.f Vernon, loceated at 4305 Santa Fe
Avenue, in said City, and that immediately upon the posting thereof this
Re$olution shall be in full force and-effect..
