RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE
3 INTERSECTION OF LEONIS BOULEVARD AND PACIFIC BOULEVARD,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 276 OF SAID CITY. '

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHERE.AS~ David D. Grayson~ Traffic Engineer~ has reported
7 to the City Council under date of October 11~ 1962~ that the installation of
S , traffic signals at the intersection of LeoniS Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard
9 has. been completed in accordance with Contract No. 276; and
10 WHEREAS~said David D. Grays.on has recommended that the
11 work be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with
12 the agreement;
13 .NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the installation of Traffic Signals at the
15 intersection of Leonls Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard be, and the same
16 is hereby accepted in .accordance with Contract No. 276 heret.ofore approved
17 by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2 :
That partial payments: in amount of $14~ 423.65
have been made, and the remaining fifteen percent, or thes.umof $2, 545.35
is payable thirty--five (35) days after the adoption of this resolution, and. th.e
City Council hereby directs payment ofgaid, sum to the Contractor, Electro
Construction Corporation.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pa.ssage of this Resolution, and thereupon and ttrereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPT.ED and APPROVED t his 16th day of October ~ 1962.
