A RESOLUTION OF'rHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTINOTllE BID OF ELECT.R.IC AND MACHlNERY.SERVICE. INC.
FOR TMFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF
P ACIFlC BOULEY A:an AND FRUITLAND AVENIJE. IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CONTRACT NO. 283 OF SAID CITY.
THE CrTYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON USOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract N.o. 283 w as. approved by the City Council
of the City.of Vernon by Resolution. No. 2579 and pursuant thereto sea~ed
bids were opened on.. November 20. 1962; and
WHEREAS. said bids were referred to Da.vid Grayson, Traffic
Engineer. who has ~eported to the City Council under date of November 29.
1962. recommendingtb.at a contract be awarded to Electric and Mach.inery
Service, Ilto. for the sum of $13,217.00, it being the lowe.st bid received
meeting the contract. requirement;
NOW. THEnEFORE. .BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
Tb.at the City CouncUof the City of Vernon
SECTION 2:
That allotb.er bids are rejected, and the City
Clerk is I:':e reby itt$tructedaltd directed to return all .checks or drafts to
unsuccessful bidders.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon. shall
certify to the passage.of .thi.s Resolution. and thereUpoll and thereafter the
samesb..all be in .full force and effect.
