RESOLUTION NO. 2600
A RESOLUTION O:F Tln~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE PUMPS AND MOTORS FOR BOOSTER PLANT NO.
3 ADDITION, lNACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULE I OF CONTRACT
NO. 275 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. R. H. King, Sup.erintendent of Water and Sewer Systems.
has reported to the City Council under date of November 21, 1962, that the
Pumps and Mot()rsforBooster Plant No. 3 Addition have been completed
in accordance with Schedule Iof Contract No. 275; and
WHEREAS, said R.H. King has recommended th.at th.e work be
accepted and payment made to the Contractor, in accordance with the
agreement ;
NOW. THEREFORE. B:E IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
Th.at the Pumps and Motors for Booster Plant
No.3 Addit1t>n be, and the same are hereby accepted in acc;ordance with
Schedule I of Contract No. 275 hereto.fore approved by the City Council..
SECTION 2:
Th.at partial payments in amount of $4..35 6. 95
have been made, and the remaining fifteen percent, or the s.um of $768. 87
is payable thirty-five days after the adoption of this resolution, and the
City. Council hereby directs payment of said sum to the Contractor, U. s.
Pumps. Company.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify w the passage of this Resolu~ion, and th.ereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 4th day of December, 1962.
