RESOLUTION NO. 2601
A RESOLUTION OFTFIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE PIPING AND SITE .IMPROVBJ.fBNT FOR WELL NO. 14.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULES ill AND IV OF CONTRACT NO. 264
OF SAm CITY.
WHE:B.EAS, on February 20. 1962, Hydro Construction C.o. was
awlU'ded th.econtract for piping and site imp.rovemel1tfor Well N.o. 14, in
aeco.rdance with Schedules ill and IV of Contract No. 264; and
WHEREAS. Robert H. King, Superintendent of Water and Sewer
Syst.ems, has reported to the City Council under date of November 20.
1962, th.at ~aid workh.as been completed and recommends: that the work be
ac'Cepted and. payment made t.o the Contractor in accordance with the
agreement;
NOW. THE REF'ORE.BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the piping and site improvement for Well
No. 14 be, and th.e same is hereby accepted in a'cc.ordance with. Schedules
III ana IV of Contract No. 264 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That partial payments of $15, 042. 45 have been
made, and the remaining .fifteen percent, or the sum of $2. 654. 55, is pay-
able thirty-five (35) days after the adoption .of this resolutiE)R. and the City
Cou.ncil hereby directs paymel1tof said sum to HydroConatruetion Co...
Contractor.
SECTION 3:
Th.e City Clerk .of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pass-age of this Resolution, and. thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
