RESOLUTION NO. 2.602
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 288 AND pLAN NO. T 1692 FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF
ALCOA AVENUE AND FRUrrLAND A VENUE IN THE CITY OF VERNON"
AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREV AlLING RATE OF PER DIEM
WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. under date of December 12.. 1962.. David D. Grayson,.
Traffic Engineer.. presented Contract No. 288 to the City Council for the
installation of traffic signals at the intersection of Alcoa Avenue and Fruitland
Avenue in the City of Vernon; and

WHEREAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
the general prevailing ra.te of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
under said Contract No. 2.88;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE rr RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 288 and Plan No. T 1692
16 be.. and the same a.re hereby approved for the installation of traffic signals
17 a.t the intersection of Alcoa Avenue and Fruitland Avenue.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
19 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
20 per diem for wages for laborers.. workmen and mechanics employed by con...
21 tractors and subcontractors.. for the doing of any work set forth in Contract
22 No. 288 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract No. 288.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of December.. 1962.
