A RESOLUTIQNOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 291 AND PLAN NO. T 1693FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA FE AVENUE
AND3IT:HSTltEE't. AND DETERMINING THE GE.NERAL PREVAILING
RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY OOUNCILOF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS" under date of January 3, 1963, David D. Grayson.
Traffic Engineer, presented Contract No. 291 tothe City Council for
traffic signal installation. at. th.e intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and 38th
Street in. the City of Vernoll;and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
the general prevailing . rate of per diem. wages to be paid for the work done
under said Contract No. 291;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 291 and Plan No. T 1693
16 be" and the same are hereby approved for traffic signal installation at the
17 intersection of Santa .Fe Avenue and. 38th Street.

SECTION 2:
Th.e City Council of the City of Vernon hu
19 ascertained alld does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
20 per.diem for wages for labore.rs, workmen and mechanicS employed by con-
21 tractors and $.ubcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in Contract
22 No. 291 are th.ose wage rate scb.edulescontained in said Contract No. 291.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Yernon. shall
24 certify to th.e passage of this reSOlution and thereupon and th.ereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.
