RESOLUTION NO. 2607
2 A RESOLUnON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 290 AND PLAN NO. T 1671 FOR TRAFFIC
3 SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF BOYLE AVENUE
AT LEONIS EOULEV ARD~ AND DETE.RMINING THE GENERAL PRE-
4 VAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS. FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, un.der date of January 3, 1963, David D. Grayson,
7 Traffic Engineer, presented Co.tract No. 290 to the City Council for
8 I traffic signal ins.tallation at the intersection of Boyle Avenue and Leonis
9 Boulevard in the ,City of Vernon; and
10 WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon nas investigated
11 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work don.e
12 under said Contract No. 290;

13 NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 290 and Plan No. T 1671
15 be, and the Same are hereby approved for traffic signal installation at the
16 intersection of Boyle Avenue at Leonis Boulevard.

SECTION 2:
The City. Council of the City of Vernon has
18 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
19 per diem for wages for laborers, work.men and mechanics employed by con-
20 tractors and Subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in Contract
21 No. 290 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract No. 290.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this re$olution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in fun force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of January. 1963.
