INS.TALLATIQNOF TBAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION.OF
BOYLE AVEWE AND LEONISBOULEVARD. IN ACCORDANCE WITH
OONTB.ACT . NO. 290 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TllE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WUEREAS. contract No. 290 wasa.pproved by th.e City Council
of tneCitYOf Vernenby R.e:SOlUti.oll NO. 2607 and pursuant th.ereto .ealed
bids were opened. on. February 5, 1963; and
WHEREAS, said bidsw ere referred to DavidD. GraY$:O~ Traffic
Engin.eer. w ilG lms.re}X)rted to tile City Council under date of February 8,
19. 63, recontmettding .that a.coutra.ct be awarded to Allen. Engineering
Company, fQr tb.e sumflO, 985.00, it beingtne lowest biarecelved meeting
the contract requirements;
NOW. 1HEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
Tb.a.t the City Council Of tb.e City of Yernon
doesh..erehcy award the contract in accordance with the recommenda.tion of
David .D. Graysnn, Traffic Engineer, and authoriz es the .execution of a
'COntract with.A1len Engineerin.gCompany, for the installation of traffic
slpalsat tile intersection of Boyle Avenue and Leonis Boulevard. in
aeeord an ce with. Contract No. 290 heretofore approved by the City Council.
SECTION 2:
That all oth:er bids are. rejected. and the City
Clerk is hereby instructed and directed t'O return all ch.ecksor draf.ts to
