STllEET" FRUITLAND AVENUE TO 52NDSTREET, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 282 or SAID CITY.
TBE.CIttCOUNCILOF TIm CIn OF VERNON ItESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WllEREAS~ on November 7, 1962, Vernon Paving Company was
awarded the contract for th.e reconstruction of S2nd, 5-3rd, 54:tb..and 57th.
streets, Santa .Fe Avenue to .Ea$~ C1tyBoundary, and Malabar Street, Fruit~
,
land Avenue to 52no.8treet, in accordance with Contract No. 282; and
WHEREAS, David.D.Grays.on, 'traffi:cEngineer, has reported
to th.e City Council under date of February 14, 1963, that .said wocrk .ba$
be:en complet.ed.and recommends that the. work be. accept.ed and. payment made
to the Contractor inaceordance with the agreement;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ItESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That. the reconstruclionof 52nd, 53rd, 54th. and
16 57th Streets, Santa Fe Avenue to East Ci.tyBoundary, and Malabar street,
17 Fruitland: .Avenue to 52nd Street be, and the SaIne is hereby accepted in
18 accordance with Contract No. 282 heretofore approved. by the City of Vernon.
