DISTRIC"t :BOULEY ARD. IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULE n OF
CONTMCT NO. 274 HERE'l'OFORE .APPROVED BY THE CITY CF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL.OF 'OIE .CITY.OF VERNON ~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WBE:RE.AS. .David. D. Grays.on" Traffi:cEngineer, has reported
tQ th.e City Councilund:er date of February 15, 1963, that the work of
reconstructing Atlantic Boulevard and. District Boulevard has been completed
inaccordanee l'/itn Schedule n ef Con.tract No. '274; and
WHEItEAS" said David D. Grayson l1as recommended that tll"e
work be aceepted. and payment made to the..Contraclor.i;o; aCCOrda.n-ce witit
the agreement;
NOW.. THEREFORE. BE rr RESOLVED:
SECTION" 1:
That the reeon.structingof Atlantie Boulevard and
15 District Boulev;a.rd be, and the same is hereby accepted in aceord:an-ce with.
16 Schedule.n of ContraetNo. 2.74 h.eretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That partial payments inamoUtlt of $39" 148.13
18 have been. ms.de; that a final partial payment In amount of $11, 635.32 is
19 nowdne andpayahle, and tlteremainingfifteen percent, or the sum of
20 $8.961.39, is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of titis.
21 resolution, and the City Council hereby directs payment of said sums to
22 the Contractor, Vernon Paving Company.
