AR.ESOLUTIONOFTHE CITY COUNCILOFTH.E CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE BID OF DELTA BUILDEBS FOR CITY nLL
REMODEUNG. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTMCT NO. 292 OF
$AID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
'WHEREAS. CQntract No. 292 was approved by the C1tyCouncil
of the City of V.rnon by Resolut ion No. 2615ano pursuant thereto IIealea
bids were opened -on February 19. 1963; and
WHEREAS. said bids were referred to David D. Qrayson,
TrafficEngineer, who has reported to the City Council under date of
March 4, 1963, recommending that a contract be awarded to D~ltaBu.ilders:.
for the su.m,Qf $49,400.00, it being the lowest bid receivedmeeti.ng th:e
contract requirements.;
NOW.. THEltEFORE~ .BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTI()N 1:
That tl1e City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby award the contract in .accordal1ce with the recommendation of
David D.Gra.yson., Traffi<: Engineer,andauthorlzes tneexe:eution ofa
contract with Delta Builders, 12627 Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles 66,
California.. for City Hall Remodeling, in accordance with Contract No. 292
heret()fore approved by the City Council.
SECTION 2..:
That all other bids are reje<:ted, and the City
Clerk is. hereby instructed and directed to return all checks or .drafts to
unstlccessfulDidders.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
