A RESOLVTIONOF T1IE CITY COUNCIL OFTJfE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE
INTERSECTION OF ALCOA AVENUE AND SLAUSON AVENUE. IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 287 OF SAlD CITY.
THE CITY COUN"CIL OFTJiE CITY OF VERNON !tESOL YES .AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. David D.Grayson, Traffic Engilteer. . b.ureported to
tlle City Council under da.te of August I, 1963. that the work of instaJliT\g
traffiestgn;als at tlle1ntersection. of Alcoa Aye.nue a.ndS1a.u$on Avenue ~.s
been completed in ;lecordanc.e. with Contract No. 237; and
WHEREAS, said David D. Grayson. ha.s recommended tot tl'te
work bea.ccepted and paym.e.nt ma.de to the Contractor in accordance with.
the agreement;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the iMtal.la.tto.nof traffie signals at the
15 tnterseetion ()f Alcoa Avenue and Slauson Avenue be. and the same is n.ereby
16 accepted in accordance with Co.ntract N(). 2.87 heretofore approved by the
17 City of Vernon.

SECTION .2:
That partial pa~nts in a.mountof $8,904.60
19 . have beenmade,a.nd the rem.a.ining fifteen percent. or the sum of $1.571.40.
20 is payable thirty-five (35) dayS: after the adopUon of this resQlution,. .and the
21 CityCouneU hereby qireets payment of a:taidliu.m to the Contractor, WilHa.m
