RESOLUTION NO. 2658
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 297 TO CONSTRUCT 38TH STREET EAST OF
SANTA FE A VENUE, AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RAT
OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. under date of August 14. 1963, D. D. Grayson,
Traffic Engineer. presented to the City Council Contract No. 297 to construct
38th Street east of Santa Fe Avenue; and
WHEREASi the City Council of the City of Vernon has investi...
gated the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work
done under said Cont ract No. 297.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
SECTION 1:

That Contract No. 297 be. and the same is
hereby approved to construct 38th Street east of Santa Fe Avenue.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has

ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for laborers. workmen and mechanics employed by
contractors and subcontractors. for the doing of any work set forth in
Contract No. 297 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
No. 297.
SECTION 3:

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th day of August. 1963.
