A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SEWER IN SANTA FE AVENUE
NO. 256 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the
installation of a sewer in Santa Fe Avenue (25th Street to 37th Street) in
accordance with Contract No. 256 of the City of Verno'fl. and the Notice
Inviting Sealed Proposals or Bids contained in said Contract No. 256.
SECTION 2 :

There being no newspaper of general
Rirculation printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon, the
City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause the same to be
posted in three (3) of the most public places in said City, to wit; At the
northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue at the northeast corner
of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon# located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue
in said City.
SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall not

be less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed
work. The notice shall distinctly state the materials to be furnished and
the work to be done.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution# and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of September # 1963.
