A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON1
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A NEW
CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA1 THROUGH ITS DEPART-
MENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH. FOR TECHNICAL EVALUATION OF
LICENSE APPLICATION. FOR INSPECTIONS UNDER THE RADIATION
CONTROL LAW. AND REPEALING RESOLUTION #2581 OF THE CITY OF
VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on September 24, 1963, C. E. NEMETHI. M. D.,
Health Officer has recommended that the City enter into a new agreement,
with the State of California, Department of Public Health for the parti-
cipation in the State Radiation Control Program, and
WHEREAS, a contract has been presented by the State of California,
through its Department of Public Health, and the City Coune! 1 deems it
advisable to enter into said contract
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION!:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Vernon,
that certain contract presented by the State of California, through its
Department of Public Health, for Technical Evaluation of License Appli-
cation and for Inspections Under the Radiation Control Law.
SECTION 2 :
That contract number 245 is hereby ter-
25 minated.

SECTION 3:
That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
27 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
