RE SOL UTION NO .2675
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE WORK OF REMODELING OF CITY HALL~ IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. (292 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ D. D. GRAYSON, Traffic Engineer, has reported
to the City Council under date of October 28, 1963 that the remodeling
of the City Hall of the City of Vernon has been completed in accordance
with Contract No. 292 and,
WHEREAS~ D. D. GRAYSON has recommended that the work be
accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with the
agreement.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the work of remodeling the City Hall
of the City of Vernon be, and the same is hereby accepted in accordance
with Contract No. 292 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION '2 :
That partial payments in the amount of
$42, 524.14 have been made, and the remaining fifteen'percent, $7, 504.26,
is payable 35 days after acceptance, and the City Council hereby directs
payment of said sum to the Contractor, DELTA BUILDERS.
SECTION 3 :
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter,
the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day Of2ber,
1963.
