RESOLUTION NO. 2679
A RESOLUTION S.li1 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT SANTA FE
AVENUE AND 38th STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 300
OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, David D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported to
the City Council under date of December 11, 1963 that the work of installing
traffic signals at Santa Fe Avenue and 38th Street has been completed in
accordance with Contract No. 300, and whereas David D. Grayson has recom-
mended that the work be accepted and payment made to the contractor in
accordance with the agreement,
NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1 :
That the installation of traffic signals at
15 Santa Fe Avenue and 38th Street be, and the same is hereby accepted, in

16 accordance with Contract No. 300 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due and owing the con-
18 tractor the sum of $2. 494. 75, the remaining fifteen (15%) per cent, or the
19 sum of $440.25 is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this
20 Resolution, and the City Council hereby directs payment of said sums to the
21 contractor. Westates Electrical Construction Company.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the sam
shall be in full force and effect. ~
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this.l2 day of December, 1963.
