1 RESOLUTION NO. 2687
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE BID OF CROWN COACH CORPORATION" FIRE COACH DIVISION"
3 FOR THE FURNISHING OF ONE 2" 000 GALLON PER MINUTE TRIPLE
COMBINA TION PUMPER" IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 294.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS" Contract No. 294 was approved by the City Council of
7 the City of Vernon by Resolution No. 2639" and pursuant thereto sealed bids
8 were opened on May 7" 1963; and"
9 WHEREAS" said bids were referred to L. C. Husted" Fire Chief"
10 who has reported to the City Council under date of February 14" 1964" recom-
11 mending that a contract be awarded to Crown Coach Corporation" Fire Coach
12 Division" for the sum of $41" 292.60 plus sales tax" it being the lowest bid
13 received meeting the contract requirements;
14 NOW" THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon doe
16 hereby awarrl the contract in accordance with the recommendation of L. C.
17 Husted" and authorized the execution of a contract with Crown Coach Corpora-
18 tion.. Fire Coach Division" for furnishing one 2" 000 Gallon Per Minute Triple
19 Combination Pumper" in accordance with Contract No. 294 heretofore approved
20 by the City Council of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected" and the City
22 Cl~rk is hereby instructed and directed to return all checks or drafts to
23 unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
25 certify to the passage of this Resolution" and thereupon and thereafter the same
26 shall be in full force and effect.
27 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of February.. 1964.
