1 RESOLUTION NO. 2693
2 .A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT
ING THE FURNISHING OF ONE FORD STATION WAGON. IN ACCORDANCE
3 WITH CONTRACT NO. 305 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS" on January 21" 1964" the Ben Barclay Motors was
6 awarded the contract for furnishing one Station Wagon" in accordance with
7 Contract No. 305 of the City of Vernon; and"
8 WHEREAS" R. H. Bockhacker" Chief of Police" has reported to the
9 City Council under date of March 9" 1964" that the Station Wagon has been
10 delivered and recommends that the equipment be accepted and payment made to
11 the Contractor in accordance with the agreement;
12 NOW. THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Station Wagon be. and the same is here
14 by accepted in accordance with Contract No. 305 heretofore approved by the
15 City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment of $2" 526.54 is now due
17 and payable" and the remaining ten percent (lO%)" or the sum of $268.78" is
18 payable thirty-five (3 5) days after adoption of this Resolution" and the City
19 Council hereby directs payment of said sums to the Contractor. Ben Barclay
20 Motors.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certif
22 to the passage of this Resolution" and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
23 be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of March" 1964.
