2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE WORK OF CONSTRUCTING SANITARY SEWER IN SANTA FE AVENU
3 BETWEEN 25th AND 37th STREETS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
256 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS. on October 15,? 1963,? the Bosko Construction Company
7 was awarded the contract for the work of constructing sanitary sewer in Santa
8 Fe Avenue between 25th and 37th Streets,? in accordance with Contract No. 256
9 of the City of Vernon; and.
10 WHEREAS. Arthur E. Nelsonl Jr. 1 City Engineer 1 has reported to
11 the City Council under date of March 17,? 19641 that the work of constructing
12 sanitary sewer in Santa Fe Avenue between 25th and 37th Streets has been com-
13 pleted and recommends that the work be accepted and payment made to the
14 Contractor in accordance with the agreement;
15 NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the work of constructing sanitary sewer in
17 Santa Fe Avenue between 25th and 37th Streets be,? and the same is hereby
18 accepted in accordance with Contract No. 256 heretofore approved by the City
19 of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That partial payments in the amount of
21 $80,? 895. 30 have been madel and the remaining fifteen percent. or the sum of
22 $14,? 282. 7011 is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this Resolutio 1
23 and the City Council hereby directs payment of said sum to the contractorl
24 Bosko Construction Company.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution. and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
