3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND PRESCRIBING NOTICE TO BE
4 GIVEN" AND DECLARING A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CmCULATION
WITHIN THE CITY OF VERNON.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 That the Los Angeles Daily Journal is a daily newspaper of general
8 circulation within the City of Vernon.
9 That the notice of hearing on the petition for variance of GRANT 01
10 TOOL COMPANY be noticed by publication one {l} time at least ten {l0} days
11 prior to the date upon which said petition is set for hearing.
12 That notice shall also be given by mailing a post card notice contain
13 ing the same information as in the published notice not less than five (5) days
14 prior to the date of hearing to all owners within a radius of three hundred feet
15 (300') of the property for which a variance is requested.

located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in the City of Vernon, is the time fixed for
the hearing on said petition for a variance.
That the name of the applicant is GRANT OIL TOOL COMPANY;
that the address of applicant is 2042 East Vernon Avenuell Los Angeles 58,
California.
That the legal description of the property for which the variance is
requested is as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 21, Block
Number 6, New Vernon as recorded in Book 4, page
64 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder"
County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles,? California, thence
westerly 290 feet along the northerly line of East Forty
Fifth Street (Formerly known as Audrey Street), thence
northerly 133.50 feet, thence easterly 290 feet along a
line 133.50 feet distant from and parallel to the north-
erly line of East Forty Fifth Street, thence southerly
133.5 feet along the easterly line of the aforementioned
Lot 21 to the point of beginning.
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of Hawthorne
Avenue located 267 feet from the intersection of said
easterly line of Hawthorne Avenue and the southerly
