1 RESOLUTION NO. 2704
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN AN APPLICATION
3 TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR ALLOCATION FROM CROSSING PROTECTION FUND.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, under date of April 2311 1964. D. D. Grayson. Traffic
7 Engineer. recommended to the City Council that application be made to the
8 Public Utilities Commission for allocation of funds to install two {2} No. 8
9 flashing light signals and two (2) no turn signs at Crossing No. 25-1. 35-C
10 located on Leonis Boulevard adjacent to Seville Avenue; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
12 advisable to install such signals;
13 NOWII THEREFOREII BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and City Clerk bell and they are
15 hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Vernonll all
16 necessary documents of the City of Vernon to the Public Utilities Commission
17 for allocation of funds from the Crossing Protection Fund. in accordance with
18 the procedure established by said Commission.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
20 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
21 shall be in full force and effect.
22 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 28th day of April, 1964.
