1 RESOLUTION NO. 2705
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE REMODELING OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON DOWNEY ROAD AT
3 LEONlS BOULEVARD.. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 298 OF SAID
CITY.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS# D. D. Grayson,? Traffic Engineer. has reported to the
7 City Council under date of April 28.. 1964. that the remodeling of the traffic
8 signals on Downey Road at Leonis Boulevard has been completed in accordance
9 with Contract No. 298; and
10 WHEREAS, D. D. Grayson has recommended that the work be
11 accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with the agreement.
12 NOW. THEREFORE,? BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the remodeling of traffic signals on Downe
14 Road at Leonis Boulevard be. and the same is hereby accepted in accordance
15 with Contract No. 298 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That partial payments in the amount of $4,? 940. 2
17 have been made. and the remaining fifteen percent (150/0). or the sum of $871.80
18 is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this Resolution,? and the
19 City Council hereby directs payment of said sum to the Contractorll WILLIAM
20 R. HAHN.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage of this Resolution# and thereupon and thereafter the same
23 shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADIOTED and APPROVED this 5th day of May.. 1964.
