1 RESOLUTION NO. 2706
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE INSTALLATION OF ONE HUNDRED FEET OF TWELVE-INCH SEWE
3 IN EAST 26TH STREET IN THE CITY OF VERNON,? IN ACCORDANCE WITH
PERMIT NUMBER 12961 AND AGREEMENT DATED APRIL 7, 1964 OF SAID
4 CITY.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, under date of April 23, 1964. Arthur E. Nelson. Jr.,
7 City Engineer of the City of Vernon. reported to the City C<;mncil that all work
8 was performed in accordance with Permit Number 12961 and Agreement dated
9 April 7 ~ 1964 between the City of Vernon and Metal & Thermit Corporation and
10 is hereby completed. and recommends the acceptance thereof; and
11 WHEREAS. said work was constructed by Metal & Thermit
12 Corporation for the interested property owners under the inspection of the
13 Vernon Engineering Department;
14 NOW,? THEREFORE,? BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the improvements of East 26th Street are
16 completed in accordance with Permit Number 12961 and Agreement dated
17 April 7. 1964. and is hereby accepted by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
19 and directed to return to Metal & Thermit Corporation any and all monies
20 deposited by said Metal & Thermit Corporation for the inspection and engineer-
21 ing of said installation.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
23 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
24 shall be in full force and effect.
25 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day of May. 1964.
