2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ENDORS-
ING THE PROVISIONS OF H. R. 5845.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS,? House of Representatives Bill No. 5845 has been pre-
6 sented enabling commercial banks to underwrite Municipal Revenue Bonds; and
7 WHEREAS. such underwriting by commercial banks will mean a
8 substantial savings to tax payers;
9 NOW" THEREFOREII BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
SECTION 1:
11 hereby endorse and support H. R. 5845.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
13 certify to the passage of this Resolution# and there:upon and thereafter the same
14 shall be in full force and effect.
15 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of May. 1964.
