2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT
ING THE WORK OF REROOFING THIRTEEN CITY HOUSES. IN ACCORDANC
3 WITH CONTRACT NO. 306 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHE REA SI on May 19~ 19641 the Dion Roofing CompanYI Inc. was
6 awarded the contract for Reroofing Thirteen City Housesl in accordance with
7 Contract No. 306 of the City of Vernon; andl
8 WHEREAS~ ARTHUR E. NELSON. JR." City Engineer" has re-
9 ported to the City Council under date of July 2" 1964" that the work of reroof-
10 ing thirteen city houses has been completed and recommends that the work be
11 accepted and that authority be granted to pay the Contractor in accordance with
12 the agreement;
13 NOW. THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the work of Reroofing Thirteen City Houses
15 be~ and the same is hereby accepted in accordance with Contract No. 306
16 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment of $2" 613.75 is now due and
18 payablel and the remaining fifteen percent (15%}1 or the sum of $461.25" is
19 payable thirty-five (35) days after adoption of this Resolution" and the City
20 Council hereby directs payment of said sums to the Contractor I Dion Roofing
21 Company~ Inc.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this Resolutionl and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of JulYI 1964.
