2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT
ING THE BID OF CROWN COACH CORPORATION FOR FURNISHING ONE
3 2~ 000 GALLON PER MINUTE TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPERI IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 308 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS1 Contract No. 308 was approved by the City Council of
7 the City of Vernon by Resolution No. 2718~ and pursuant thereto sealed bids

were opened on July 211 1964; andl
9 WHEREAS~ said bids were referred to L. C. Husted" Fire Chief#
10 who has reported to the City Council under date of July 31~ 1964~ recommend-
11 ing that a contract be awarded to Crown Coach Corporation~ for the sum of
12 $41~ 292.60 plus sales tax" it being the lowest bid received meeting the contrac
13 requirements;
14 NOWI THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
16 hereby award the contract in accordance with the recommendation of L. C.
17 Husted~ and authorized the execution of a contract with Crown Coach Corpora-
IS tionl for furnishing one 2~ 000 Gallon Per Minute Triple Combination Pumper#
19 in accordance with Contract No. 308 heretofore approved by the City Council
20 of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejectedl and the City
22 Clerk is hereby instructed and directed to return all checks or drafts to
23 unsuccessful bidders.

24 I SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this Resolutionl and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 4th day of August# 1964.
