RESOLUTION NO. 2724
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON
THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY
ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1~ 1964~ AND TO PAY THE BONDED
OR OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY OF VERNON. OR ANY PORTION
OR DISTRICT THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That the amount of money necessary to be
S raised by taxation upon taxable property within the City of Vernon as a revenue
9 to carryon the various departments of said City for the fiscal year commencin
10 July 1" 19641 and to pay the bonded or other indebtedness of said City" or any
11 portion or district thereof" is hereby fixed in the sum of Three Hundred Eighty
12 One Thousand" Forty-Five Dollars ($381" 045. OO)
13 That said sum so fixed for the purposes hereinabove set forth does
14 not exceed the limit fixed by law for such purposes.

SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper printed" published
16 and circulated in the City of Vernon" the City Clerk is hereby directed to
17 certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall post same" or cause same to
IS be posted~ in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon" to wit:
19 the northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
20 of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
21 lobby of the City Hall of said City" located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenuel all in the
22 City of Vernon~ Los Angeles County" Californial and that immediately upon the
23 posting thereof this Resolution shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of August" 1964.
