1 RESOLUTION NO. 2725
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE RATE OF TAXES AND LEVYING THE TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
3 BEGINNING JULY 1, 1964.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That for the purpose of raising the sum of mone
6 to be raised by taxation upon taxable property in the City of Vernon as revenue
7 to carryon the various departments of the City for the fiscal year beginning
S July 1~ 19641 the rate of taxes for the different portions of the City of Vernon
9 are hereby fixed and the taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property in the
10 different portions of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 11 1964, in the
11 number of cents upon each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said
12 propertYI as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of
13 Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles" and for the several funds and
14 purposes set forth in the following table, the taxes levied upon property in each
15 portion of said City hereinafter described and designated by a district numberl
16 being at the rates set opposite the designations of the respective funds in the
17 column headed by the district number which is prefixed to the description of
IS each such portion of said CitYI as hereinafter stated.

as it existed prior to November 5" 1958.
DISTRICT NO.2:
All that territory annexed to the City

2 hereby levied upon an taxable property in the several sewer and municipal
3 improvement districts in said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1" 1964
4 in the number of cents upon each $100.00 of the assessed value of said propert;y
5 as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors
6 of the County of Los Angeles.. for the several funds and purposes set forth in
7 the following table:

SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed" published
and circulated in the City of Vernon~ the Ci ty Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall post same~ or cause same
to be posted in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon~ to wit:
the northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; at the northeast
corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in
the lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon~ located at 4305 Santa Fe
Avenue" in said CitYI and that immediately upon the posting thereof this
Resolution shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of August" 1964.
