1 RESOLUTION NO. 2727
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPOIN -
ING A MEMBER OF SAID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE CITY SELECTION
3 COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 10 OF THE PUBLIC
UTILITIES CODE.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That pursuant to the Southern California Rapid
7 Transit District Law~ being Part 3 of Division 10 of the Public Utilities Code#
8 Charles H. Mailliard" a member of said City Council# is hereby appointed as
9 a member of the City Selection Committee.

SECTION 2:
That the within Resolution shall become opera-
11 tive and the appointment made by Section 1 hereof shall be effective on August
12 24# 1964.

SECTION 3:
That immediately after the effective date of the
14 appointment hereby madel the City Clerk shall without delay forward a certifie
15 copy of this Resolution~ together with notice of the appointment made hereby#
16 to the Secretary of State" and after the Southern California Rapid Transit
17 District has a Secretary" also to the Secretary of such District.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution# shall cause the action of the City Council in adopting the same
to be entered in the official minutes of said City Council~ and shall retain this
Resolution~ duly signed and executed by the proper City Officials" in the
official records of said City.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 25th day of August" 1964.
