RESOLUTION NO. 2728
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROV
ING AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE OF STATE HIGHWAY IN THE CITY 0
VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ the State of California~ through its Department of Publi
Works~ Division of Highways~ has presented an Agreement for Maintenance of
the State Highway in the City of Vernon effective as of July 1~ 1964 and to re-
main in effect until amended or terminated; andl
WHEREAS~ the City Council has hereby read said Agreement in
full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW" THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That said Agreeme nt for Maintenance of the
State Highway in the Cityis her~~~,.q:~proved and the Mayor and the City Clerk
are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolutionl and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 25th day of August. 1964.
