2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RE-
LOCATING THE COMMON BOUNDARY OF THE CITIES OF LOS ANGELES
3 AND VERNON BETWEEN EAST 26TH STREET AND EAST 25TH STREET
(EXTENDED)

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Vernon did request the
7 City Council of the City of Los Angeles to consent to relocation of the common
8 boundary line between East 26th Street and East 25th Street (extended); and#
9 WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Los Angeles has consent
10 ed to said relocation by Resolution under date of September 2~ 1964;
11 NOWI THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City of Vernon hereby relocates the
common boundary line between the City of Los Angeles and said City of Vernon
between East 26th Street and East 25th Street (extended) more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the common boundary between
the City of Los Angeles and the City of Vernon as said
common boundary existed on December 12~ 1963;
distant easterly along said common boundary 608.39
feet from the center line of Harriett Street as shown
on a map of H. M. Arne's Subdivision of the Glassell
Tract~ recorded in Book 23~ page 73 of Miscellaneous
Records~ in the office of the Recorder of the County
of Los Angeles~ said point also being in the westerly
line of the land described in Parcell of deed to
Easton R. Roberts et ux~ recorded in Book D2203"
page 353 of Official Records~ in the office of said
Recorder; thence North 10 30' 20" West along said
westerly line 153.95 feet to the easterly prolongation
of the center line of 25th Street~ formerly Edwin St."
60 feet wide~ as shown on said map; thence North 880
29' 30" East along said easterly prolongation 93.49

No. 406 of Final Judgment in Case No. 425376 of the
Superior Court of the State of California in and for
said county~ a certified copy of which is recorded in
Book 16472~ page 70 of said Official Records; thence
southerly along said last mentioned westerly line to
said common boundary.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this Resolution~ and thereupon and thereafter the same
10 shall be in full force and effect.
