2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE FURNISHING OF ONE 2~ 000 GALLON PER MINUTE TRIPLE
3 COMBINATION PUMPER" IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 294. OF
THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS~ on February 18~ 1964~ the Crown Coach Corporationl
7 Fire Coach Division~ was awarded the contract for furnishing one 2~ 000 Gallon
S Per Minute Triple Combination Pumper I in accordance with Contract No. 294
9 of the City of Vernon; and~
10 WHEREAS~ L. C. Husted.. Fire Chief~ has reported to the City
11 Council under date of November 231 1964~ that the 21000 Gallon Per Minute
12 Triple Combination Pumper has been delivered and recommends that the
13 equipment be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with
14 the agreement;
15 NOW; THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the 2~ 000 Gallon Per Minute Triple
17 Combination Pumper be~ and the same is hereby accepted in accordance with
IS Contract No. 294 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment of $38~ 815. 04 is now
20 due and payable~ and the remaining ten percent (10%)~ or the sum of $4~ 129. 26..
21 is payable thirty-five {3 5} days after adoption of this Resolution~ and the City
22 Council hereby direc ts payment of said sums to the Contractorl Crown Coach
23 Corporation~ Fire Coach Division.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certif
25 to the passage of this Resolution.. and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
26 be in full force and effect.
27 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1 st day of December.. 1964.
