RESOLUTION NO. 2738
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT
ING THE FURNISHING OF ONE 2~ 000 GALLON PER MINUTE TRIPLE COM-
BINATION PUMPER.. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 308 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS~ on August 4" 1964~ the Crown Coach Corporation was
7 awarded the contract for furnishing one 2~ 000 Gallon Per Minute Triple Com-
8 bination Pumper~ in accordance with Contract No. 308 of the City of Vernon;
9 and~
10 WHEREAS~ L. C. Husted~ Fire Chief.. has reported to the City
11 Council under date of November 23" 1964~ that the 2~ 000 Gallon Per Minute
12 Triple Combination Pumper has been delivered and recommends that the
13 equipment be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with
14 the agreement;
15 NOW:I THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the 2:1 000 Gallon Per Minute Triple Com-
17 bination Pumper be" and the same is hereby accepted in accordance with
18 Contract No. 308 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment of $38~ 815.04 is now due
20 and payable.. and the remaining ten percent (100/0)~ or the sum of $4,,129.26.. is
21 payable thirty-five {35} days after adoption of this Resolutionl and the City
22 Council hereby directs payment of said sums to the Contractor I Crown Coach
23 Corporation.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certif
to the passage of this Resolution~ and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1 st day of December.. 1964.
