2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT-
ING THE RECONSTRUCTION OF 25TH STREET FROM SANTA FE AVENUE TO
3 ALAMEDA STREET~ IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 270 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE; CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREASI on August 18" 1964" Sully-Miller Contracting Company
7 was awarded the contract for the reconstruction of 25th Street .from Santa Fe
8 Avenue to Alameda Street" in accordance with Contract No. 270 of the City of
9 Vernon; andl
10 WHE REA SI David D. Grayson~ Traffic Engineer" has reported to
11 the City Council under date of November 25" 1964" that the reconstruction of
12 25th Street from Santa Fe Avenue to Alameda Street has been completed and
13 recommends that the work be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in
14 accordance with the agreement;
15 NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the reconstruction of 25th Street from
17 Santa Fe Avenue to Alameda Street be" and the same is hereby accepted in
18 accordance with Contract No. 270 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That partial payments in the amount of
20 $611025.71 have been made" and the remaining fifteen percent" or the sum of
21 $10" 769. 24 is payable thirty-five {35} days after the adoption of this resolution"
22 and the City Council hereby directs payment of said sum to the Contractor"
23 Sully Miller Contracting Company.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certif
to the passage of .this Resolution" and thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of Decemberl 1964.
