1 RESOLUTION NO. 2740
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPT
ING THE WORK FOR CITY HALL LIGHTING" IN ACCORDANCE WITH
3 CONTRACT NO. _309 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS~ on November 4" 1964~ the Delta Industrial Builders~
6 Inc. was awarded the contract for City Hall Lighting~ in accordance with
7 Contract No. 309 of the City of Vernon; and~
S WHEREAS~ D. D. Grayson~ Traffic Engineer" has reported to the
9 City Council under date of December 11~ 19641 that the City Hall Lighting has
10 been completed and recommends that the work be accepted and payment made
11 to the Contractor in accordance with the agreement;
12 NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Hall Lighting be~ and the same is
14 hereby accepted in accordance with Contract No. 309 heretofore approved by
15 the City of Vernon.

That a partial payment of $61956.40 is now due
SECTION 2:
17 and payablel and the remaining fifteen percent (150/0)~ or the sum of $1~ 227.,. 60~
IS is payable thirty-five (35) days after adoption of this Resolution~ and the City
19 Council hereby directs payment of said sums to the Contractorl Delta Industria
20 Builders" Inc.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
23 shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of December ~ 1964.
