A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON EXffiESS
ING APPRECIATION TO FRANK H. WHEELOCK FOR HIS DEVOTION AND
SERVICE TO SAID CITY AND COMMEMORATING HIS RETIREMENT.
-
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ a city is enriched in spirit and strength by the devotion
of its people; and
WHEREAS., the City of Vernon has been abundantly fortunate over
the years in the great number of men and women who have given unselfishly of
their time~ thought.. and effort for the general welfare of the City; and
WHEREAS~ one among them whose devotion has been outstanding .
since he came to Vernon in April.. 1930; and
WHEREAS.. his creativity and interest have been demonstrated in
innumerable ways~ tangible and intangible~ enhancing good government.. effi-
ciency.. and prosperity in Vernon; and
WHEREAS~ though young in heart.. spirit.. and vitalitYI he is
retiring on February 28~ 1965 from Fibreboard Paper Products Corporation..
the company that has claimed his professional interest since young manhood..
and consequently is retiring from active life in the City of Vernon;
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That~ with much warmth~ we express our deep
21 appreciation to Frank H. Wheelock~ and extend best wishes for a long and
22 happy retirement.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
SECTION 2:
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
