1 RESOL UTION NO. 2754
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON OPPOS-
ING ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 300.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS~ certain functions of municipality are strictly local in
6 nature; and
7 WHEREAS~ partisanship in local government would interfere with
S smoothly functioning municipal governments as they now exist in the State of
9 California;
10 NOW~ THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
12 hereby oppose the passing of Assembly Bill No. 300.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
14 certify to the passage of this Resolution.. and thereupon and thereafter the same
15 shall be in full force and effect.
16 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 16th day of March~ 1965.
