A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROV
ING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAIN BOND
ISSUE PROJECT NO. 588~ VERNON. IN THE CITY OF VERNON AND IN
U:NlNCORPORATEDTERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. AND
GIVING PERlVIlSSlON AND PERlVIlTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAME.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS~ under date or :March 26~ 1965~ Arthur E. Nelson~ Jr. ~
City .E1tgineer.. presented to the City Council Specifications received from the
Los Angeles County Flood Control District for Construction of 1958 Storm
Drain Bond Issue Project No. 588.. Vernon.. in the City of Vernon and in
Unincorporated Territory of the County or Los Angeles~ and recommends that
approval of said specifications be given. and permission and permits for the
construction of' the same be granted;
NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the recommendation of Arthur E. Nelson.,
15 Jr... City Engineer., as contained in the recitals herein be~ and the same is
16 hereby approved.. and the necessary permission and permits are hereby author
17 ized.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
19 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
20 shall be in full force and effect.
21 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of April, 1965.
